LUXURY FIREPLACE IN VARIOUS SHAPES
INNOVATIVE TOUCH PANEL CONTROL
One of the groundbreaking features of the FLA4 fireplace is its modern touch panel control, seamlessly concealed behind a flap for an elegant finish. This intuitive interface provides users with the capability to effortlessly adjust and monitor the fireplace’s settings. With a simple touch, you can gauge the fuel status, modify the flame’s intensity, and even set an automatic shut-off timer for added peace of mind. Concerned about the safety of your little ones? The child lock option ensures that curious fingers won’t accidentally ignite the fireplace. For those who desire a complete lockdown of the control panel, the device lock offers an added layer of security. These enhancements not only elevate user convenience but also prioritize safety, marrying innovation with practicality in the FLA4 design.
Planika FLA4 app

- ✓ See the fireplace messages
- ✓ Check the fuel level
- ✓ Set the work timer
- ✓ Activate Child Lock
NET ZERO FIREPLACE
Planika bioethanol fireplaces with BEV Technology provide a net zero combustion, meaning they produce only a minimal amounts of CO2 that can be compared to what one person exhales. Bioethanol which fuels Planika automatic fireplaces is made of corn, wheat, or potatoes. These plants absorb CO2, which contributes to its continuous circulation in nature. Thanks to this, these innovative fireplaces can be used in cities that regulate or prohibit emission of fossil fuels.
SAFETY FIRST
For over 20 years, Planika has been a pioneer in bioethanol fireplaces safety. Our solutions are protecting the customers around the world. Now you can get all of them in one FLA4 fireplace.
Temperature sensors
Multiple temperature sensors are installed in areas where heat is generated. Their sensitivity to temperature changes reaches 0.1 degrees and they react immediately to any undesirable changes.
Fuel level sensor
To ensure that the combustion process runs smoothly, the fireplace has been equipped with a fuel level sensor. If the level of the liquid fuel in the main tank is too low, the FLA4 switches off automatically and sends the information to the user. You can check the amount of the fuel any time in the dedicated FLA4 NET ZERO app.
Seismic sensors
To meet the demands of our customers who live in areas of increased seismic activity, we’ve introduced a dedicated seismic sensor that will shut off the device if it detects vibrations. It will also react if the device is hit.
Spillage sensor
Since we’re dealing with bioethanol, it’s always good to have a system of spillage detection on board. Deliberately tilted bottom of the device will ensure, that any hypothetical drop of fuel will fall right on the sensor.
Robust construction
At Planika, we make sure that our products meet the highest quality standards and pass mechanical, chemical and temperature resistance tests. Both the top plate of the burner and the fuel tank are made of stainless steel to provide high performance.
Fuel retrieval system
FLA4 is equipped with a system that redirects unused liquid fuel from the vapour generator and transports it back to the fuel tank when the device is not in use. The same situation occures when the fireplace detects any unusual situation and shuts down automatically.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
* Room divider, tunnel and island arrangements require higher glass panels alongside the burner to stabilize the flame from windblows.

FAQ
Are the BEV products Eco-friendly?
How to refuell the BEV fireplace?
The BEV fireplaces are being refuelled with the automatic fuel pump. The dedicated pump – when connected – automatically fills up the tank with a bioethanol fuel. Once the tank is completely filled, the sensor alerts the microprocessor to stop the process.
Fuel tank location in BEV products
The fuel tank for the BEV fireplaces is located in the product cassette.
Does a BEV fireplace produce heat?
Yes, the BEV fireplaces generating a real fire that produce heat.
Why there must be a 1/H air exchange?
This is a standard construction requirement for any habitable space. As the length of the fireplace increases, so does the amount of re-circulated air, which means a larger air volume is needed. This ensures that the recirculated air does not lower the overall air quality in the room within an hour. This is the minimum air exchange requirement. Increasing the air
exchange rate will further enhance air quality by reducing the concentration of recirculated air.
Is it possible to replace the remote control?
Yes, the remote control can be ordered through the service help form ( https://planikafires.com/service-help/ ). After the
new remote is received, the service team must be contacted again by filling the form, they must remotely pair the remote with the fireplace.
What are the by-products produced during bioethanol burning process?
In Planika’s BEV (Burning Ethanol Vapors) fireplaces, the bioethanol burning process is carefully designed to maximize efficiency and minimize harmful emissions. The BEV technology specifically burns ethanol vapors rather than liquid ethanol, leading to a more complete combustion process. The by-products are Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) and Water Vapor
(H₂O). This CO₂ emission is comparable to what humans exhale and is minimal in well-ventilated rooms.
Are the BEV products safe to use?
Planika’s BEV technology is designed to provide a safe, clean, and environmentally friendly fire experience by burning
ethanol vapors rather than liquid ethanol directly. Here are some aspects of their safety features:1. No Direct Contact with Flame: Planika’s BEV technology creates flames from burning ethanol vapors, which eliminates the risk of spillage and uncontrolled burning of liquid ethanol, making it safer than traditional ethanol fireplaces.2. Automated Control Systems: These fireplaces often include electronic control systems, which manage the ignition, flame height, and shutdown process. This automation minimizes user interaction with the flame and enhances safety.3. Sensors and Safety Features:CO₂ and Temperature Sensors: Many Planika fireplaces are equipped with sensors that monitor the carbon dioxide level and temperature. If the CO₂ level exceeds a safe limit or if there’s an unusual temperature spike, the system shuts down automatically.Tilt and levelling sensor- a safety features designed to shut off the fireplace if it is tilted beyond a safe angle. This prevents accidental fuel spills or fires if the unit is knocked over or destabilized.Spill-Proof Design: BEV fireplaces are typically designed to prevent ethanol leaks, reducing the risk of accidental fires dueto fuel spills.
Is the chimney or flue required for the BEV fireplaces?
There is no chimney or flue required for the BEV (Burning Ethanol Vapour) technology fireplaces. Thanks to the BEV technology products are producing minimal carbon dioxide and water vapor without smoke or harmful fumes.
Can’t open the fuel cap.
Remove the ring under the cap.
Can I connect the fireplace to the UPS battery?
There is no technical contraindications to use UPS baterry. Although, the output must be 230 V and the battery must operate on a Pure sinus wave. The capacity of the UPS battery will determine how long it can power the device in the event of a power failure.
Where are Planika fireplaces manufactured?
Planika fireplaces are manufactured in Poland, EU
Are the glass panels getting hot?
Yes, the glass screens may get hot (up to 100 degrees Celsius).
Can I use it around children?
Parts such as glass panels may become very hot and it is advisable to keep it away from children.
Why can’t I use ceramic logs in all fireplaces ?
Our logs are too large for some models and could cause a malfunction of the device
Is the fireplace under warranty?
The manufacturer gives 2 years warranty from the date of purchase.
Can I put any decorative elements like ceramic logs around the fire?
Yes, you can use decorations such as logos, but not in all models. Whether such accessories can be used for a given product is specified in its user manual. It is only allowed to use accessories indicated by the manufacturer and tested by us. Others may damage the device
