Indoor Linear Fireplaces FAQ
What is the maximum length of an indoor linear fireplace?
Our FLA4 and FLA4+ are available in single-unit lengths up to 2,490 mm. For longer fire lines, multiple FLA4 units can be placed side by side through our custom fireplace service.
Can I mount a TV above a linear fireplace?
Yes. Our BEV® linear inserts can be used in media wall installations with a TV mounted above when the correct clearances and heat management requirements are followed. The Forma casing includes a deflector and Zero Clearance construction, while the Panorama encloses the fire behind glass with integrated heat channelling. What is the difference between FLA4 and FLA4+?
FLA4 and FLA4+ share the same BEV® technology, available lengths, control systems, and 5-year warranty. The main difference is the fuel tank. FLA4 has a standard tank with a 220 mm insert height and approximately 5–10 hours of burn time, while FLA4+ has an extra-large tank with a 305 mm insert height and approximately 16–31 hours of burn time.
Do indoor linear fireplaces need a chimney?
No. Our indoor BEV® linear fireplaces and electric inserts operate without a chimney or flue. BEV® fireplaces also require no gas connection and operate on bioethanol fuel. Adequate room ventilation must be provided according to the installation manual.
Can I customise the finish of a linear fireplace?
Yes. Our FLA4 and FLA4+ fireplaces can be customised in any RAL colour with glossy, silk, or matte finishes. For fully bespoke linear fireplace installations, contact our project support service.
Are linear ethanol fireplaces safe?
Yes. Our BEV® linear fireplaces use BEV Technology®, which vaporises bioethanol before ignition and eliminates direct contact between the flame and liquid fuel. Indoor Linear Fireplaces
Our indoor linear fireplaces produce a continuous line of real flame or a realistic flame effect designed for built-in wall installations, media walls, room dividers, and custom architectural features. We offer indoor linear fireplaces using BEV® bioethanol technology for real open flames with no chimney, as well as electric technology for a realistic linear flame effect. Our indoor linear fireplaces require no chimney, no flue, and no gas connection.
Our BEV Technology® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) is the core of our indoor linear fireplace range. BEV Technology® vaporises bioethanol fuel before ignition, eliminating direct contact between the flame and liquid fuel. The combustion process is fully automatic and electronically controlled, including flame height adjustment, fuel level monitoring, automatic refuelling, and automatic shut-off. Indoor Linear BEV® Bioethanol Fireplace Inserts
Our indoor linear BEV® fireplace inserts are designed for built-in wall and custom architectural installations without a chimney or flue. Their long horizontal flame line complements widescreen television proportions, making them particularly suitable for media wall installations. BEV® linear inserts produce no smoke, soot, or ash and are available in a wide range of lengths.
FLA4
FLA4: Our flagship automatic linear BEV® fireplace insert, available in seven lengths: 590, 790, 990, 1190, 1490, 1990, and 2490 mm. FLA4 features 6-stage flame height adjustment, automatic refuelling, remote and app control, optional SHS integration, and a 5-year warranty. Its finish can be customised in any RAL colour with glossy, silk, or matte options. FLA4 requires no chimney or permanent gas connection and is suitable for residences, apartments, commercial interiors, hospitality projects, and yachts.
FLA4+
FLA4+: Offers the same BEV® technology, available lengths, and control features as FLA4 with an extra-large fuel tank. Depending on the length, burn time extends to approximately 16–31 hours, making FLA4+ suitable for projects requiring extended operation without frequent refuelling.
Prime Fire 2.0
Prime Fire 2.0: A linear BEV® burner designed for custom-built fireplace enclosures with configurable viewing sides. It can be combined with our Fireplace with Frame and Glass system for tunnel, room divider, and island configurations where the linear flame is visible from multiple sides.
SENSO Burner
Senso Burner: A compact automatic BEV® insert producing a real flame from vaporised ethanol without smoke, soot, or ash. It measures 380 × 260 mm, has a 1.3 L fuel tank, provides approximately 4.5 hours of burn time, and reaches up to 2.5 kW of heat output. Flame height can be adjusted across two levels using the integrated control panel or remote control.
Neo Burner
Neo Burner: A linear BEV® insert available in 500, 750, and 1000 mm lengths for built-in wall and recess installations. No chimney or flue is required. Neo Burner includes remote control and supports optional Smart Home System integration.

Forma
Forma: A linear BEV® fireplace with a dedicated casing using Zero Clearance technology. Its double-layer construction with an insulating air gap helps keep the outer surface cool. An integrated deflector directs hot air away from AV equipment and the surrounding wall, allowing combustible materials such as wood, MDF, and decorative panelling to be used around the fireplace. Forma is particularly suitable for media wall installations.
Panorama
Panorama: A 1,200 mm glass-enclosed linear BEV® fireplace available in multiple configurations including single-sided, corner, and three-sided arrangements. The fire is enclosed behind tempered glass panels, while an integrated heat distribution system channels hot air through the casing and exhausts it through an upper vent. Panorama is particularly suitable for media wall installations where controlled heat distribution is required.
NEO Fireplace
NEO Fireplace: A complete ready-to-install BEV® fireplace with a dedicated zero-clearance firebox casing. It is available in 500, 750, and 1000 mm lengths and in Single-Sided, Left Corner, Right Corner, and Three-Sided configurations. An included deflector directs hot air away from the surrounding structure and AV equipment mounted above.
Linear Electric Fireplaces
Astro: A linear electric fireplace insert producing a flame effect using 3D LED technology. Astro offers multi-zone colour control for the flame, glowing floor, and log illumination. It is available in four lengths and four glazing configurations. Built-in Heatflow heating operates at 1,500 W or 3,000 W. Astro requires only a standard electrical connection and no fuel, chimney, or flue.
Multi-Sided Linear Fireplace Configurations
Our linear BEV® fireplaces can be configured for multi-sided viewing using the Fireplace with Frame and Glass system. Compatible with FLA4 and Prime Fire 2.0, the modular frame supports tunnel, room divider, and island configurations where the flame can be viewed from multiple directions.
Custom Linear Fireplace Projects
Our custom ethanol fireplace service provides made-to-measure linear fireplace solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors. How to Choose the Right Indoor Linear Fireplace
The right indoor linear fireplace depends on the required flame type, fireplace length, installation configuration, media wall requirements, and expected operating time.
Indoor Real Flame: Standard Linear Insert
The FLA4 is our primary linear fireplace for built-in wall and media wall installations, with seven available lengths from 590 mm to 2,490 mm.
Indoor Real Flame: Extended Burn Time
FLA4+ combines the same BEV® technology and design options as FLA4 with an enlarged fuel tank providing approximately 16–31 hours of operation depending on the model length.
Indoor Real Flame: Glass-Enclosed Linear Fireplace
The Panorama is a 1,200 mm glass-enclosed linear fireplace with multiple arrangement options and integrated heat management. It is particularly suitable for installations where the flame must be separated from the room by glass.
Indoor Real Flame: Media Wall with Combustible Surround
The Forma casing with integrated deflector is designed for installations where wood, MDF, or other combustible materials are used around the fireplace and a television is mounted above.
Indoor Real Flame: Multi-Sided or Room Divider
The FLA4 or Prime Fire 2.0 combined with our Fireplace with Frame and Glass system is suitable for tunnel, room divider, and island configurations.
